PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This capsule shaped clinic is set to be built in Oyarifa, a suburb of Accra. Designed to modern standards, it responds to the clients brief and sets a trend with its aesthetic quality. This building, like its name, is derived from the shape of a palm fruit cut in two halves. It is designed to effectively compartmentalize each block, reducing the tendency of an epidemic spread, whiles enhancing connectivity through its angular bridges. It’s lifted off the ground to enhance cool-air intake, effectively reducing the stench normally present in clinics. The design makes effective use of the land provided.
